The term “Mopar” has passed into broader usage among car enthusiasts as an unambiguous reference to the parent company Chrysler (now officially Fiat Chrysler Automobiles or FCA) . The term has thus become an inclusive word for any Chrysler-built vehicle in the past and FCA-built today.’ Mopar or No Car! Car participation is limited to Mopar vehicles. (i.e. Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, SRT, FIAT, Maxwell-Chalmers, Graham-Paige, Kaiser-Frazer, DeSoto, Fargo, Willys, AMC, Eagle, Plymouth)
Moparpalooza is an automotive charity event in the DC-metro area that raises money for the Fisher House Foundation. Fisher House provides free or low cost lodging to veterans and military families while receiving treatment at military medical centers.
This annual event, while raising money for our service men and women, is also a celebration of the heritage and passion that surrounds vehicles in the Chrysler family.
DC Modern Mopar (DCMM Inc.), Moparpalooza hosting organization, became an official non-profit organization 501 c(3) on April 1, 2014. The sole intent of creating the non-profit was to maximize our giving to Fisher House.
